Trying to cut down my daily commute expenses. Help this person out! 🥺
Upon doing my monthly salary budget, I realized that a significant portion goes to my commute expenses from home to work and vice-versa. Gina-try na nako himuon og fixed cost akong pang-commute, pero mawala jud ko sa budget at the end of the month kay naa gyud mga driver nga mahal kaayo maningil (labi na if mag-overtime ko unya gabii na ko makauli, x2 gyud ang singil sa akua).
For context, I am from Fatima and my work is somewhere in Labangal. Here’s the flow:
• From bahay to sakayan - ₱20 (sometimes ₱25 pa)
• Sakayan to Makar - ₱30
• Makar to workplace - ₱20
Pero ang pauwi gyud ang problema nako. Naa juy mga maningil og ₱50, and di ko sure kung sakto ba akong pagsabot kay wala pa man gani mi sa city proper. Mao nang maglibog ko nganong ₱50 ang singil.
I am now looking for tips and other alternatives. Honestly, I’m just new to this kind of setup, so I’d like to have a clarification on how the transportation rates work here.
