Im kinda bored and am trying to go into reading some stuff related to IE as im going into first year IE in september. I just started on Case in Point 10th edition by marc P. Cosentino, which from what ive heard is a more consulting oriented book. I was wondering what books do yall think is a must read if you were in my position?

My friend's bday is this week thursday and I completely forgot about it till today. He is a big NMIXX fan and his bias is jiwoo. Idk what to buy for him, all the options on amazon delievery are Friday. I wont be able to see him after thursday for a while. Any help is appreciated

My parents are really pushing me towards consulting and say that being able to work a year or two in consulting at a big company will provide extremely valuable experience that will aid me for the rest of my career. The thing is, i don't know how I should even approach to getting a job/internship at a big consulting company. I really want to take uni seriously and if possible, trying to get an internship/job first year.
People suggest personal projects but im ngl idek what to do as projects. Theres also clubs that I was suggested to join. My parents also place heavy importance on a perfect GPA and considering its ustg, theres def not gonna be enough time to do everything (or maybe tehre is, ill find out in a month or two lol).
I was hoping to get any advice about what to do. Any help is appreciated and I apologize if it came off as offloading, that wasn't my intention.
I want to get a PAC access code because apparently student owned bank accounts don't work with Interac TD. Is the online request for PAC working for anyone? it says it is unable to proceed for me and gave me a phone number to the Canadian Pension Plan and Old Age Security. Is this even the right number?
I saw that there was a post on this issue with TD ERROR.403.1883, the latest comment there was 6 month ago and I was wondering if anyone else is still having this issue? I called TD and it said it isnt their end of the problem. I also just open this account like a day ago, the password works and everything
Hi, Im a upcoming first year industrial eng student and I have a couple questions:
I have been going through the U of T websites and its lowk overwhelming me w how all over the place everything is. Where do we check residence updates such as picking roommates, earliest date to move in (and when the my meal plan is active). I still haven't paid my 2nd deposit yet, do I have to do that first?
How "busy" does one get in engineering? I am curious whether I would have time for clubs/ personal time to myself where I can just chill? My parents make it seem like first and second year is just pure doom and gloom, studying 24/7.
Is there any place where I can get all the information in one piece (with like specific dates)? It might just be me being a bit lazy to read/ go in depth researching, but I swear I am going in circles when it come to information.
