Hughes trade; revisit

Now that the draft is behind us, there are no more large question marks about what the Canucks are receiving in return.

Buium (20yo, D), Rossi (24, C), Ohgren (22, LW), Novotny (18, LW/RW). A potential future second line and top pair defender, all for Hughes (26), who didn't even want to be here.

Rutherford, at least, left us with something positive from his regime's tenure. Incredibly excited to follow how these 4 turn out over the next few seasons. Novotny is especially exciting; a big, fast, forechecking sniper. A long time since a prospect of his type came up through the Canucks org.

With GMRJ now at the helm and solid a foundation to build upon, this team finally has something that has been lacking, even through the Hughes era; Direction. Personally, I cant remember the last time I felt this level of hopefulness in the future of our favourite local team!
