Hello all, I’m looking to buy a Fox Speedframe Pro helmet. My head measures 58.5-59 cm, which is right on the edge of the medium and large sizes. Should I go smaller or bigger? TIA

Just got my first nice bike and it's my first time in an aggressive position. I use my mom's commuter helmet and it hurts my neck real bad on long ride because of how much i need to crane to get around the shape. Been looking at new helmets, and one caught my eye, being the Fox Speedframe Pro. It's in the top 10 of Virginia Tech helmets and on sale. Issue is, it's a mountain bike helmet. It has better coverage which I love but also a bigger back so it could hurt my neck. However, I tried it on today and it wasn't an issue. Visor is removable, and I don't mind about ventilation and aerodynamics. This seems like the perfect helmet, but I'm wondering if there's anything special about road crashes that road helmets are meant for, or if an MTB helmet can handle it all. TIA

TL;DR - Is there anything about a road crash MTB helmets would handle worse than a road helmet
