“Perfect World” my new favorite series

I found this on a reddit list and im so in love with this series. Started it today and I am already on volume 8 out of 12. Disabilities arent something we see in shojo/josei a lot and this series is so raw and real im shocked it isnt more popular. Having such an amazing time with it and wanted to share my love

Health Anxiety and America

Greetings. This is kinda a loaded discussion but I have had health anxiety for about two years now and I am also American and its such a complex place to be. It feels like in America you have to BEGGG for any type of complex testing to be done or lie to be seen. Even now I am have a bad bout of anxiety and fighting to now drive myself to the er but its like… would they even do anything…. Do other counties with free healthcare experience these same fears? Like those with health anxiety already battle so much and also having to face being denied care is just another obstacle to healing….

Just the other day I was having fear of gastrointestinal or colorectal issues and immediately was discounted as weight gain…. The doctor could be very right but I like many others are shut out immediately.… perhaps its helpful …. Not giving into our demands but for me It keeps me in the “what if” mindset. Is it like this in other nations?

Activities to learn about Japanese culture and history?

Greetings. Going to Japan for the third time this septemeber and I really want this trip to serve partly as an education trip and was wondering if anyone had in amazing places they went that focuses on history and culture. One activity I am doing is a Yuzen Dyeing on Kimono class in Ueno and looking for some stuff like that. I love museums as well, but would prefer a different museum then the ones in Ueno since I have been twice already.

I would love to go to a Kabuki show or do more artistic courses too. The areas we are going to this trip are Tokyo and all surrounding cities, osaka, kobe, uji, okinawa, and I was thinking nikko…. Sendai is an option as well.

I have been to the Samurai museum (in osaka or kyoto I forgot) which was cool but felt to catered to tourist. Would love to find something that teaches you about japanese mythology and yokai but that may be a stretch.

Anyone know if this is a callus or wart I should be concerned about…

This is on the inside of my index finger and I wasn’t concerned at first but as health anxiety does i am now concerned it could be HPV…. I did just recently have an hpv test in Early March and it was negative but I work in an HPV research lab so Im nervous I should maybe get retested. I could just be in my head and this is a callus because I use my hands alot and its been super dry in my house….

Kinosaki Onsen Ryokan recs for a group of 6

Hello, going to Kinosaki in sept with a group of 6 and wondering if anyone has traveled with a group that large before and had recommendations for a place to stay? My only requirement is that it serves a Kaiseki dinner (unless there are resturants I can go to in the town that can do this) and not toooo far from the town. Anything helps! Budget isnt too strict…. I saw most are like 30000-40000 yen a night per person.
