The patches don’t bother me emotionally but I love the beach and love to go on beach vacations, currently building a house in The Bahamas.

My chest and back are so white it’s getting difficult to spend time outside.

I haven’t really tried anything to this point,

What would everyone suggest to start?

Would a at home uvb light be a good thing to try on my chest and back?

I posted earlier this week about my dying bamboo…. I think it’s multiple issues, over crowded, suffocating and pests…..
I think I might actually have multiple pests but I’m not sure….
I was going to use systemic granules but reading online that for some pests that could actually make the situation worse so I’m trying to figure out exactly what I’ve got.
Can you guys identify any of this?
I’ve got weird patterns on leaves, little white stripe looking things.
The shoots have like white powder on them…..
Also see these clumps of something.
I’m getting lots of new shoots that just grow like 3 feet up and then turn brown , shrivel and die…..
any help appreciated!

Live in central nj and planted bamboo back in 2008.
I dug a pretty tight trench and lined it with root barrier.
It’s apx 50ft long but only 2 or 3 ft wide.

It’s 4 or 5 different types of bamboo and it’s been amazing for probably 14 or 15 years…. Beautiful, healthy, some shoots are easily 40’ plus tall.

All of a sudden last year I noticed way to many leaves dropping and lots of shoots started to come up outta the ground and then a few feet up outta the ground they just turn brown and die.

Now this year almost all of the shoots are heavily spotted and many are totally dead, leaves just dropping non stop.

I don’t know what’s going on?

Is there to much bamboo in a tight container?

Is there no nutrients left in this soil?

Is it possible the old leaves are smothering them?

Any help appreciated!
