Vikings home game seating advice from an out-of-state fan
Sorry if this isn't the right subreddit to post this, but I'm trying to plan a trip to Minnesota for my brother's birthday with tickets to a Vikings home game in October. I've never been to U.S. Bank Stadium and am visiting from out of state, so I'd love any advice you have.
I want to get good seats to make it a special experience, but I'm also trying to stay within a reasonable budget. Around $200-300 per ticket is about the top end of what I'm comfortable spending, but I'd be willing to stretch a bit if there's a section that's truly worth it.
He makes more money than I do so I know he could probably buy himself amazing seats if he wanted to, but I really want this to be my treat, so I'm trying to find the best balance between a great experience and good value.
I've been looking at the sections highlighted yellow in the image (attached), but I'm definitely open to other recommendations if there are better options.
A few questions:
- Which sections do you think offer the best value for the experience?
- Is it better to buy tickets as soon as the schedule comes out, or wait closer to the game?
- Are there sellers/sites you recommend (or ones to avoid)?
- Any other tips for first-time visitors to U.S. Bank Stadium?
Thanks in advance! I'm hoping to make it a memorable experience.
