Fun hikes this weekend w/fam

South lake tahoe. We just arrived today. Family of 4, 2 kids aged 10 and 8 that are very adventurous. Looking for some good hikes for the next 2 days. What suggestions do you have?

Also any recommendations on food or other activities to fill 2 full days?

We are heading out on a 2 week adventure. Driving a minivan with 2 adults 2 kids (8/10). Setting out in the early morning hours to get the first leg halfway over before kids are really awake.

What should we bring for the drive? We have audio books for the family to listen to (on book 4 of Harry Potter currently which the kids love), tablets, physical books, math worksheets( 🤣) snacks galore. What else is a must have?

Anything spectacular we should do at these stops?

*we will have 3 days in Tahoe, 3 in Zion and 1 night in everywhere else.

*Vegas is a stopover, we are spending the night, hitting the hoover dam and then moving on.

Heading out for a road trip before summer starts full swing. Leaving on a friday and coming back 11 days later. Family of 4, kids 8/10. We are renting a minivan, plan to visit many national parks after tahoe.

Lake tahoe for 3 nights, Vegas as a stopover, zion for 2 nights, grand canyon, Moab and Silverthorn each for a night.

Suggestions for the drive? Recommendations at any of these stops? We've done 17 hours straight to orange beach 2 year years ago and survived but this is a lot more driving from destination to destination.

Looking for any and all feedback.
