Studio suggestion - external collaboration on a project

As I wait for my BYOK, I've started using Studio. At the moment I don't plan on paying the premium, as I do my outlining and note taking in a way that is much more messy and hand-crafted. So it would just suffocate me to have to use the Outline or Grid or the other tools (it's also the reason why I can't get into Scrivener).

The interface, though, is pretty nice. So I've moved to writing my fiction there, just text files.

What I would like to see, though, is the ability to share a limited-permission link to individual text files, or whole projects, to an outside, unauthenticated user (or authenticated, sure, although it would make it easier to share with beta readers).

I could simply export it, send it out and then manually work through any comments, but it's incredibly tedious and error prone. Having a possibility, like in google docs, to give out a safe, limited access link with only viewer or viewer+commenter permissions would be awesome. And it would set Studio a notch above other similar products, in my opinion.

It's really great for beta readers, editors, or even co-authorship situations.

Editors and Covert artists for RR

Hi all, I've been wondering if there's editors or cover artists that the authorship of RR frequently uses. Is this known or is it every author for themselves?

I think in general, due to the format of RR, cost is a big factor but also discovery of good professionals is hard (Eg, how to avoid ones that don't do the work with their own human brains?).

Revising my chapters alone feels futile at times, as I've seen and changed those words so much. For art, I'm entirely incapable instead.

Do you have any professional in your roster that you appreciated, with a good compromise between cost and quality? Could you recommend them?

BYOK embedded in keyboard?

Hi all, I've been evaluating several options for a distraction free setup and am finding myself a bit stuck.

While I'm very positively oriented towards the BYOK as a tool (I've seen the latest update and it's very cool; also being able to write my own little tools in Lua sounds fantastic), I liked the idea of the Zerowriter fold: something I can put on my lap, if I'm in bed or on the couch, and jot down notes or scenes.

With my setup, id need a keyboard where the BYOK can be embedded securely. At 1.5cm depth, I don't think it fits in the slots some keyboards for tablets offer..

On the other hand, the BYOK gives me flexibility. If go to the library i may want an extra silent keyboard. If I'm travelling with only my backpack, I may want to use a 60% super compact keyboard. If I'm at my desk and don't want to be distracted I can then off the monitor and connect the BYOK to my desktop keyboard.

Choice is cool but can be paralysing.

Has anyone gone through a similar conundrum? Can you share idea or photos of your setup?
