This one took me waaaay too long. Probably 20 hours of stripping, scraping, sanding, staining, then sanding again, then oiling and painting.
I wanted to save the entire wood piece but I blew through the veneer on a drawer and had to get creative. There was the original finish, wallaper(?), and then a thick layer of paint to get through. Ive never wanted to be done with a piece so bad lol. It literally took a gallon of soygel.
Nothing in the drawers, on the back or the bottom
I know I know it was a good veneer I'm sorry guys
Decided to try the whole desk into a night stand thing. Got this bad boy for free! Tried to use the original top but that didnt work out so i had to cut a new one. Definitely need to work on my routing skills though
Please, give me all your tips and tricks for staging a piece. This is the part I feel struggle the most with. Here's my most recent attempt - is it too cluttered??
I know it's reaaaally rough, but I had a lot of fun. The only way to go is up haha
I unfortunately had to paint this guy as the veneer was too chipped for me to fix easily.. thoughts?
Another flip! Lets hear your thoughts.
Sorry for the lack of staging, just finished today and I don't have the energy 😕
I found a vintage lane for dirt cheap and just had to give it a go
Does anyone know more about this table?
Thought I'd give it a go! Please post your thoughts, positive or negative. I want to hear it all!
