I made a very simple app for when my brain has too many tabs open.

Sometimes my brain just has too many tabs open.

I couldn't keep up with heavy journaling, so I made Inspirely just to have a quiet space on my phone. I use it for a quick 3-minute pause: read a good quote, check in with my mood, and get back to the day.

If anyone else needs a simple mental reset without the pressure of writing paragraphs, it’s here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kptbarbarossa.inspirely

Hey everyone

I've always hated the guessing game of matching test strip colors by eye. I wanted to bring an honest, purely scientific approach to this problem.

So, I combined science and AI to start a project that can read these strips down to the finest detail and slightest color variation. That's how I built

**StripVision**. The goal isn't just to make something flashy, but to provide a tool that is genuinely useful, accurate, and reliable.

Right now, the app has a completely free quota of 100 scans per month. I would love it if people interested in this space (aquariums, pools, water testing) could try it out and give me some honest feedback. I really need to hear what works, what doesn't, and what features you think I should add.

Thanks so much to anyone who takes the time to check it out!

Solo dev here. Built **StripVision** — point your phone at a test strip + the manufacturer's color ramp in the same shot, you get a real ppm number.

The app uses an AI vision model to extract RGB from each ramp patch and the strip pad, then a polynomial color correction (Cheung 2004) strips out camera and light bias, then it interpolates onto the calibrated curve. ±5% accuracy on the validated chemicals.

**Free for 10 readings/month — no card needed.**

I'd really value feedback on:

  1. Does the auto-capture (steady-hold ring fills, then fires) feel natural?

  2. Result screen readable without explanation?

  3. Any test strip brand it gets wrong?

**Honest about limits:**

- 3 of 9 chemicals fully validated; the rest are in calibration (the app labels which is which)

- iOS only (iPhone 11+, iOS 16+)

- Not a medical device — pool / aquarium / hobby use

**Try it:** https://testflight.apple.com/join/ZWfTEQFH (TestFlight, free, no card)

**Site:** https://stripvision.app/en/

I'm in this thread for the next few hours — reply or DM with anything: bugs, weird readings, missing features.
