Espresso milestone moment. After 3 years of making drinks for myself, my daughter decided she likes iced lattes.
She’s almost 13. She has never enjoyed coffee, until today. I made myself a caramel iced latte, and she wanted to try it. She has tried them before and always HATED them. But today was different. She liked it, but it was a bit strong for her. It was 24g:48g, so yeah, probably a little strong for her. So I offered to pull a weaker shot for her, and she accepted. I pulled a 17:17 for her with cocoa powder, vanilla syrup and caramel sauce. She prepped the ice and milk, I pulled the shot, she poured the shot in the milk and topped it with whipped cream and chocolate syrup. She LOVED it, and that made me happy.
