16 y/o built a mobile detailing rig in the back of my 4Runner
Built out a mobile detailing setup in the back of my 4Runner for my detailing business.
Main goal was keeping everything organized, fast to deploy, and still hidden enough that the truck doesn’t feel like a full time work vehicle when the hatch is closed.
Didn’t want gear sliding around everywhere, but also didn’t want my gf basically riding in a service van.
Current setup:
• Westinghouse electric pressure washer
• retractable pressure hose reel
• retractable air hose reel
• retractable extension cord reel
• air compressor
• custom carpeted plywood platform
Everything sits below the window line, so when the hatch is shut, it stays pretty discreet.
About $587 all-in on V1.
Pretty happy with how it came out.
