The external (secondary) battery for my X270 will only charge to 47-49% and then stops. There's no threshold on the battery, and it's deemed healthy. When I try to do a battery gauge reset, it attempts to charge fully, but once it hits 47-49%, it hits an error and stops. It's a Lenovo battery.
I've seen many similar posts in here about this and tried every solution I came across (and more), but still cannot resolve this issue. This includes (but is not limited to):
I've tested the battery on a separate X270 machine and had the exact same issue, so it seems like it's something wrong with the battery itself.
I've attached images (pictures rather than screenshots, because I'm posting this from a different machine). These images are with it currently plugged in.
The battery came with an X270 I bought from Marketplace a week ago, and I swear when I first received it, it was at 58%(!)
Is there anything I can do to the battery itself to try and reset it?
When playing open beta, I just chose random servers to test characters on. But I know in some MMOs (especially classic ones), there are distinct approaches to particular servers. For example, some are more noob friendly.
Will there be distinctions set at launch? Or is this something that generally builds over time?
