Thoughts on the Povolzhye famine?

As a Lenin defender looking to improve my skills in debating, alot of people point this out as a means of reducing the entire movement to "communism = starving." also what happened to the giant megathread posted on r/communism? I know I should be asking that on there but I dont have enough karma

tried making a patch and the paint bled through the stencil :/ any way to prevent this?

i tried painting in layers, maybe I used too much paint for each layer or didnt wait long enough for it to dry? idk man but im super bummed out because this has taken me all night
