Blah blah blah shirt blah blah blah tea
I finally found a jean jacket to start my first battle jacket with. So far only the spikes and chain have been added, and some pop tabs on the sleeves. The patch layout is throwing me off because I don’t want it to look super neat, I want a patchwork look. I’m just bad at arranging things in an unorganized way. I have more patches ready to add, and I’m working on the back patch.
I just wanted some opinions since I’ve only made patch hats and bags before.
Does this layout (or a similar layout) look good?
How can I improve the layout before sewing?
Any tips from my elder punks?
So I’ve been loosely involved in the scene for about two-ish years now. But in a bit of 1am boredom with some scrap material I got off a shirt I seam ripped, I have now made my first patch.
When a mistake turns out to be a cool thing. I appreciate the love and support yall have shown for the last shirt I posted. The dye was supposed to be black on pink shirts, then I was going to bleach them. They turned purple and it came out pretty sick. Ty all again
I fixed the bottoms of these shoes by sewing used bike tires on it. Quadruple threaded fishing line however doesn't seem to hold getting stepped on. Is there anything more durable I could use as thread or is there another way of attaching these?
My first post here but have posted in other places. I love birds (with an associated post grad degree) and my friends unanimously decided to name my mohawk "Crestus." Currently it's in a peacock phase, green fading to blue but I haven't taken any photos yet.
Decided it was time for some new crust pants so came here for inspo.
UPDATE: I wound up taking off the band name and adding "Punch a Nazi" to make the message more clear. Will likely relocate the band name somewhere else on the jacket (maybe across the shoulders? still thinking about it)
Made a patch based on the cover art for Fuck These Fucking Fascists by the Muslims, both of my parents have told me it can be taken in a variety of ways OTHER than a fascist being punched, thus they have told me I have to take this patch off/cover it if I want to wear my vest in public. I don’t want to take it off; I love the band and the album and the message, but how do I make it more clear the meaning? Thanks :)
I haven't made all the patches for this vest yet but it's almost concert ready
I've got a few other random ones around but these are what I usually wear every day. Gimme some suggestions idk I just felt like posting something
i hope those guys have a good sence of humor and don't take me into court :D
i'm a teen who's going to his first punk show later this month, and i want to look cool when i do. i already have my vest and have been slowly adding patches and pins onto it, but i want to do more and make patches that i can add on. i've been using stencils that i trace from my laptop screen and cut out. i don't exactly have a theme for the thing, so any suggestions would be appreciated! i already have many band patches
i wanna recreate this shirt but idk how i would paint the hand. i can’t freehand it cuz im not that talented yet. any ideas?
Opinions or suggestions? Too much? Still working on it. 53 yo man MA.
