ICS Office Problems
I've been having big troubles with the ICS office lately. They told me my cc class would most likely get approved and be credited as ICS 46. But when I took it, they didn't approve it as ICS 46 but as some other class I already took. They said it didn't meet all the requirements, so I was like "Okay, that's fine." I thought I could take the advanced data structures class in that cc, but now they're telling me they won't approve it because they think it's some class not taken in C++. It's absurd because you can use any language in that cc class, including C++.
I can't enroll in ICS 46 at UCI because I got a C- in ICS 45C and am currently taking it again for a better grade. I really need both ICS 45C and ICS 46 done by this quarter because otherwise I cannot take my other classes that are only offered once a year, which could defer my graduation by an entire year, which I can't afford.
I've tried to petition to take these classes concurrently but the professors won't respond to me. I've tried to book appointments with ICS but there are none available. I'm spending so much money and commuting 3 hours to school every week to further my education. I feel completely hopeless. Every time I email their office, they ignore most of what I'm saying or tell me to just wait for updates. I've submitted forms that take weeks or have never been responded to.
What do I honestly do in this situation? My mental health has completely tanked from this and I want to drop out. Any advice is truly appreciated.
