Had my turbo go out a week back and was looking at upgrading to a pure 500, some of the stuff i’ve seems says that you need to tune it to get it working right. Just wanted to see if I could get some opinions or options on what to look for moving on. Thanks!

(2016 235i xdrive) Was out driving today and had heavy white smoke coming out of my exhaust and called shops near me and most think it’s a blown head gasket which would result in needing a replacement engine. Just looking for opinions/information. How much would it cost, is it fixable, etc. Thanks!
