Hey everyone, a few months ago I got my hands on a 16’ m235i and I absolutely love it. The only thing I plan to do is upgrade the aesthetics to make it more aggressive as touching the motor will make my insurance go through the roof 😓. I am thinking of changing my rear diffuser as it’s quite bland stock. Just coming on here to ask which brands should I look into? I don’t want to go to ebay as I’m not sure the quality is up to scratch, also is this something that is easy enough to do myself or is it a job for the professionals?

Any help and guidance would be much appreciated!

I had them powder coated in grey.

Accidentally scratched my bumper, is there any way to fix this? Would a black cover up marker work? What if I got the rear side skirts? Would that hide this scratch?

So I have an axle-back exhaust on my g42 currently and have been wanting to open up the sound a little more. I’ve seen companies sell cat-back and axle-back systems, but at the same time, I’ve seen plenty of drivers note that on US spec, the midpipe has no resonators. So a full catback wouldn’t do much.

Has anyone seen a difference in sound in upgrading the midpipe? Or should I just consider a downpipe instead? I’ve attached a video of my current setup for sound.

Tapping power from the passenger footwell light

“stfu” i say back, “i don’t need a lifted F350 to carry my damn groceries”

Purchased a brand new MHD adapter, went to plug it in when I got back and I get no power from my OBD2 port. Gave it a test with a multimeter, both grounds are good, pin 16 gives 12v. Is my port supposed to be this loose? Is it possible the OBD port got kicked in and the wires are damaged from behind? The pins on the port look perfectly fine.

Edit: Removing the lojack seemed to have fixed it.

I have an F22 BMW M235 and i would like to change the rear tires from 245/35 R 18 XL to 235/40 ZR18
Currently is staggered OEM, will it cause any problems or handling is noticeable,..

So I recently bought my M240 and one of the reasons was awd, Its got no exaust catless and stage 2. I read in some bimmer forums that to run E your sparkplugs needed to be gapped. I've had them gapped for a bit and it runs fine bit today I put it on E and everything went haywire. tripple checked the E tune and what we use js XHP Drag mode. We are trying to launch the car in 2nd but when we do that it holds it at 4k rpm after we launch. we tried dcs off. the only thing we can think of is that either its a spark plug thing or I just bought a Lemon. I rlly want to try and make this work

I am debating between bronze and black apex vs-5. Planning on 18x8.5 et 40 front and 18x9.5et58 rear with Michelin ps4 235 front and 255 rear. What do you like better? I'm leaning black. Also any fitment issues? The car is currently stock but I do plan to lower it an 1" or so just to close wheel gap a bit.

I have Pirelli tires I want to use for the summer and want to buy a separate set of wheels for them. I've seriously considered Silver or Bronze rims but neither of them feel proper. I feel like until I get a wrap on this car, only black wheels will look good. However, I saw that Supra finish and really thought about that color too. Thoughts?
