I recently bought a Starlink Standard 4 kit.

I bought a Unifi U7 Pro Gateway because I heard it works much better than the stock Starlink Mini 4 router that comes with the kit.

I thought it would be easy. Just disconnect the Starlink Mini 4 router and connect the cable to the Unifi U7 Pro Gateway. This did not work. No signs of power from the gateway at all.

I'm guessing there is some other Unifi equipment that I need to get to make this work.

I am completely new to all of this. Any help would be awesome.

I'm moving to a new house in the Bobcaygeon area. The property is surrounded by big trees, but there is an opening above the house with a good view of the sky.

I'm wondering if I should go with Starlink internet or Bell wireless internet. Starlink advertises much higher speeds than Bell at a similar cost.

Hoping there is someone in this subreddit that is located in a similar location and is using Starlink internet. Does it work well for you?

Any info will be greatly appreciated!
