Just finished The Only One Left - Riley Sager
The ending of this book had me staying up until 2am last night finishing the last 50 pages… but maybe not for quite the right reason.
I thought this was a great read for the first 2/3, I did smash through it in a few days because it constantly had me wanting to keep going to find out more and I was hooked knowing it was going to keep me going right until the end to find out the truth…
BUT
The last 50 or so pages were (in my opinion) a mess. There just felt like there were twists upon twists upon twists and ultimately I thought it was too much. Particularly the final one, which if you have read this you’ll know which one I’m talking about, just felt completely unnecessary.
I did still enjoy the book so much but I wish Riley Sager had done just a little bit less. Still a good read, 3.5 ⭐
