Cousin recently bought a 07 nnbs VortecMax 4x4 with the 6.0. 170k miles. Had the typical cold startup tick and low-ish oil pressure when hot. Told him I’d install a new oil pump pick up tube oring. Oring was def bad. Crumbled when I pulled it off the tube. However, I also found this in the pan. What is it? Oil pump shim from previous repair/install is the only thing I could think of, but most just use feeler gauges?? What do yall think?
