M2 in another field, concours, or PhD?

Hi! I have a bit of a weird situation. I came to France as a Master’s student of International Relations at an American university based in France. I completed the degree along with a mémoire and stage and received attestation from ENIC-NARIC that it’s equivalent to a BAC+5. Because it’s not technically a French Master, I didn’t qualify for the RECE job seeker visa so I enrolled in a DUEF program while I searched for jobs, mostly in English education because of my background in TESOL. So far I have found zilch. My best opportunity was to be a lectrice d’anglais but I have been rejected most likely due to lack of real experience and the fact I would be almost the same age as my students. Now that I have my C1 in French, I’m considering doing my PhD in Political Science, a preparatory course for one of the concours that would get me into the new M2E (previously MEEF) program, or trying to find an M2 that would accept me this late in a related field with hopes of forming connections at an internship and maybe qualifying for RECE. I’ve built up a bit of a life here and would hate to have to move back and start over again, but realistically I can’t keep living here as a student working part-time indefinitely. So any advice on what would be the most beneficial career path for a young adult trying to get her first big girl job? Or should I just go back to being a full-time barista tbh?
