Arwen was originally supposed to fight alongside Aragorn at the Battle of Helm's Deep—and they actually filmed it!
According to the original screenplay and the scenes that were filmed, Arwen was an elf warrior who took part in the Battle of Helm's Deep. The photo I added is from that scene!
Honestly, I really appreciate that these scenes were completely removed from the final cut.
