Alright, so I got this PS2 alongside another one I bought about a year ago. The other one is spotless compared to this one. I took this one apart with the intention of trying to save it but that’ll be a huge bite. I’ve tried to sell it to console restoration content creators but got no reply. I really don’t want to throw this away but i’m not seeing any other way of going about it. What are your thoughts?

PS5 Beeps 3 times and then shuts off

My PS5 has been like this for a while. One day I was playing Gran Turismo 7 and suddenly the fan sped up and the console shut down. It proceeded to do the same thing as it’s doing on the video, multiple times.

During my research, i’ve seen some guys say it’s the light ribbon cable that causes this when it’s broken, which mine is and will be replaced, but I want to know if there are other things I should check that might cause this problem too.

Thanks in advance. Gotta get this thing ready for GTA VI.
