Small room, 2 people

Small room, 2 people

My boyfriend and I are trying to make this small room work for us for the next two years before we are able to move out. The bed (which we know is huge for the room but it’s what we have) is the only thing we already have that has to stay. Otherwise, the rest of the room is flexible. We are hoping to fit a desk large enough to fit our desk chair (which the armrests fold up to allow it to roll under), we can mount a tv on the wall, and a single beside table for a CPAP machine. We are willing to store our clothing outside of the room if we cannot come up with another storage solution but if we could come up with something creative that would be ideal.
Also, I HATE the current white tile and find it to feel sterile and unlike a bedroom, any suggestions to improve would be helpful without making our already small space appear even smaller

(Notes: basement room, tile floor, drop down ceiling)

We are trying to keep this as budget friendly as possible while being functional and homey!!

Dock Nuptials

Specific ask but… wondering if anyone knows of any Ontario venues that would accommodate a ceremony on a dock. I’m envisioning my partner and I + the officiant on a dock with the guests seated off of it but a larger dock with guests and us would do as well.
UPDATE: Neither of us are into the city feel but I personally don’t love the barn/wood aesthetic many of the outdoor ones offer
TIA

Budget

My boyfriend and I are looking to budget for a wedding before getting engaged with the idea of avoiding a longer than 2 year engagement.

Wondering realistically how much we should budget? We don’t intend for anything fancy, can be up to 2.5-3hours away from Hamilton Ontario in any direction and most likely outdoor ceremony with indoor component. My best guess for guest list would be 100 people maximum…
Be honest, what are we looking at cost wise?
