Need a PC for moderate gaming and school for less than 2k
Repost as the recs on my last post were sold out and don't ship to my area.
New build or upgrade?
New build
Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links)
None
PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/ games)
College school work: so having 15 tabs open while doing research. Teams/zoom calls lots of storage needed.
Gaming:
Games I play: Sims 4 heavily modded
Stardew with mods. Sunhaven, minecraft on occasion, any cozy game situation.
Games I will never play: shooters, driving, things like fortnight or league.
Discord and some music editing.
Purchase country? Near Micro Center? (If not US, list local vendors)
USA and near a Micro Center, Charlotte NC area.
Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)
No/I can choose one based off the build. I am open to reccomendations if you want. I may want to use 2 monitors in the future so id want it to be able to support that.
Budget range? (Include tax considerations)
Id like to keep ot under $2000
WiFi or wired connection?
needs to be wifi compatible but id like the option of plugging it in with a cable.
Size/noise constraints?
no size limit, Id prefer to keep it as quiet as possible
Color/lighting preferences?
All black. I'd rather spend money on the hardware than the aesthetics.
If youre feeling up for a challenge or can fit it in with my budget, Id love a black, orange, and purple build. (Halloween)
Any other specific needs?
The most important part to me is that I do not want to psychically build this myself, I want to buy the parts and pay someone else to put it together. I want very minimal maintenence just plug it in and go.
I also want something that will last me for years
Id like nvme storage, i7 or equal to i7, and ddr5
