How to attach water line for continuous seltzer water?

I have the special keg top that refills from a float valve for seltzer water. The water line is already connected with a shutoff and check valve from the sink tap. The water line is Polyethylene Tubing, 1/4" Od, 0.170" Id, 0.040.

The water line does not fit on the sleeve.

Help in solving this?
