Bosch dishwasher warranty
After 12 years, our old dishwasher needed replacing, so we decided to install a Bosch. It seemed like a great appliance, but after just two weeks, the door stopped opening fully at the end of the cycle. After three fruitless phone calls with the BSH customer service line, a service visit was scheduled under warranty.
The technician arrived and replaced two screws on the front of the machine—the entire job took less than five minutes. The real shock came next: a bill for €160.80, as this apparently wasn't covered by the warranty. This feels like nothing more than a money-making business model by Bosch Home Appliances. Buy cheap, pay twice. Next time, we will just buy a Miele again.
