When I saw H2O, I thought that if I bathed in a full moon like the girls, maybe I'd turn into a mermaid.

A few years ago, when I was still in elementary school, I saw H2O. I swear something changed inside me. When I saw Cleo, I loved her personality and her power to control water. My friends and I used to play mermaids. We were the "weird ones" because we would literally lie on the ground if it rained, saying that no mermaid tail had appeared. I know it sounds a little childish, but I swear that at that moment it felt so real, like we actually had powers, like I could control water. Then I grew up, and that magic faded, but I'll always have it in my childhood memories.
