I’m not super tech savvy so I got it hooked up to monitor and it was not letting me on or anything. I had gotten wireless keyboard and mouse but it wasn’t letting me open to set it up, returned those things to Amazon and bought wired keyboard and mouse and was able to set up the stuff. Thought I had to get webcam if I could only use it in clamshell mode. Now it’s letting me do all the things while open. I’m going to keep the wired stuff because who knows if I need to reset stuff later.
I have a MacBook Air M1 chip that I bought refurbished from a local shop that’s apparently well known nationally etc (Computer Overhauls) for $396 and fixing the screen would cost at least $450 so I opted to turn it into a desktop. Got a BenQ LCD monitor for $119 from B & H Photo Video Pro Audio in Manhattan.

Any tips on other tech things I might need to consider would be helpful.

I’ve got most of the first side done but the dowels are difficult to finish hammering in. I’m just wondering if anyone else has this line and how if in any way you found a way to put it together more easily. It’s just me building it and I’m trying to put the cabinet with the one door in it to create a cat tree litter box enclosure unit. I have two shelves and the cross brace to complete it. I looked on YouTube for hints and didn’t see much or anything about these shelves.

The instructions say you need two people to put the shelves together. I need to put the cabinet in place of the 3 other shelves, it’s my cat’s litter enclosure, I’m basically building a cat tree.

I don’t think anyone like this line of furniture because I can’t even give it away. Anyways if you want let me know. I’m keeping the shelves and feet in case I get a different better unit.
