the late emperor and empress dowager relationship
i recently finished season 2 and i’ve been thinking a lot about their backstory.
i’m a little bit confused on why the empress dowager decided to do what she decided to do with him. was it due to jealously? pettiness? or disgusted with him liking younger girls?
from other things i’ve seen ppl say the emperor likes younger girls due to a trauma he has faced with his mother. was the empress dowager aware of this? i haven’t read the manga or ln so im not sure of the exact stories.
if it is the case that she is jealous or petty from not receiving the emperor’s love i’m surprised ppl aren’t villainizing her more altho it can be seen as some sort of revenge SA. but srsly what was the deal with that

anyone notice that if your charm extends longer to further enemies they get charmed towards you in a longer range? am i hallucinating or is this supposed to be part of the kit
