Harley Benton SC1000 SBK (Before and After Mods)

Got this SC1000 SBK for $150 on Marketplace, took it home and went to town. I absolutely love this thing. I have it setup for A Standard/Drop G and it kills.

Mods are:

Black Guyker Bridge and Stoptail

Seymour Duncan Active Electronics Wiring and Volume Pot

Single EMG 85 Bridge Pickup (the SD Blackout is a ghost while I wait to get the delete cover)

Black Eddaray Locking Tuners from Amazon, got em for $30 and they are hold up nicely.

I used pipe end covers and a vehicle trim tree clip to cover the other holes.

Next mod is a Graphtech TUSQ Nut, it's on its way in the mail.

Advice for using Fuzz Pedals into a Clean Channel

Hey yall!

I've been using distortions, fuzzes, overdrives, everything going into the heavy gain channels on my Amp Heads for a long time. I've always seen people demoing heavy fuzz pedals and distortions through cleans channels and they sound sick, but when I get it and run through mine it sounds nothing even close. My amp is an Orange Super Crush 100 as my main, and I love it. I use the dirty channel boosted by a distortion, and other various pedals and it sounds sick. I'd really like to try out my other fuzzes, but I want to explore my clean channel and how to operate it correctly.

Can someone help explain on how to do this correctly?

For instance, I have quite a few DOES IT DOOM? Fuzzes, SF300, Black Arts Pharaoh my guitarist left at my house. They all sound sick through the dirt channel, just massively different running them in the clean channel.

Any advice is appreciated, thanks yall. 🤘

EDIT:

I TOOK YALLS ADVICE AND IT WORKED! THIS SLAPS!

Finished up the mods on my HB SC 500 WH!

Got this sweet thang firing off! Here are the mods I did:

Eddaray Locking Tuners
FLEOR Alnico V Pickups
Guyker Locking Tuneomatic Bridge

It really only took a few things to get it absolutely ripping. Finalized everything and set it up in A Standard/Drop G. Perfect guitar for my sludge metal band!
