My players want to complete the Vonindod and take control of it themselves to attack Iymrith, which is too amazing of an idea for me to say no to.

Does anyone have tips or ideas for how PCs controlling the Vonindod might work? Has anyone done something like this? I want to make sure it can be an epic experience but fair to everyone.
