Chrome Browser - Multiple Profiles

I belong to multiple organisations, so in turn have multiple M365 accounts.

On Windows, I have multiple browser profiles and then each M365 account is signed in to each profile. This way, I can install specific sites (teams.cloud.microsoft and outlook.cloud.microsoft) as separate PWAs for each profile and have them open side-by-side and interact with them seamlessly.

I can't see how to do this very same thing on Chrome on ChromeOS.

What am I missing?

Enemy Fill Bar - Defence Areas

What's the actual mechanic with this?

I'm mucking about with solo runs but sometimes, the fill bar will instantly go 95% red as soon as the first enemy arrives, making it impossible to not lose it.

I had it today where 1 second after first enemy arrived, area was lost.

Other times it does the usual yellow and builds up to red.

Google TV Screensaver

Can we customize this? I really really like the new way it puts multiple pics on screen in the 'bubbles'/photo album style. I like it so much I want that to be the default for every photo.

But some photos it still shows as full screen.

How much effect does dBm really have?

I have a U6 Mesh mounted with the ceiling mount in a soffit for Garden coverage. This AP is set to Outdoor mode.

I have a 2.4G smart socket in the garden for a water feature pump. Diagonal distance (soffit is high, socket is low) is probably 15 meters only. So comfortably within expected range. I don't believe there's any reason to doubt the socket itself - it's a double gang one so each side has its own WiFi radio and appears as 2 devices. Both have the same problem.

No matter what dBm I set the 2.4G radio to (even 6 dBm to 15 dBm I'm in the UK so this is the realistic max once EIRP is added and allowing a decent difference between 5G) this one socket never sees better than -75 dBm, and so frequently drops off.

I've used Channel AI to let it pick the best channel (6 at the moment).

Hot Take: TL became too good for SP/Sony

When I see the overall difference between what we had in TL vs the start, and now apparent end, of YL, I can't help but think the overall downgrade and short life in YL was deliberate.

It can't be good for a company like SP, let alone Sony, that players are still playing a non-live service game nearly 6 years after release.

Even now after '100%' TL including Plat7, I'm still playing it... all the weeklies, Raids, MM survival, and I'm STILL playing about with different builds for Sam/Sin/Ronin.

Up until YL release the TL leaderboards were maxing at 10,000 players. And now, they still see around 2,500.

Me personally, I've basically 'sacrificed' playing other games in favour of TL, for its entire lifetime. When I do play something else I either get bored and go back to TL or rush finish it to get back to TL.

I hope the servers for TL stay around for the foreseeable future.

I'm not sure what the expected outcome is with this.

If you have multiple conditions (using AND) and one of the devices in the conditions is offline, then the whole conditions block fails and so ignores the actions.

    condition:
      type: and
      conditions:
        - type: device.state.OnOff
          state: on
          is: false
device: Living Area Side Light - Living Area

        - type: device.state.OnOff
          state: on
          is: false
device: Living Area TV Light - Living Area

That is a slimmed down version - I have 10+ conditions all with the same premise - 'is this light off'.

As long as all devices are online then it works. I would have thought if a device is offline, so automations can't read ON/OFF state, then the default would be to consider if OFF. Rather than nuking the entire automation.

In my case my boy has an RGB mouse pad powered directly from his monitor, so if his monitor is off then it obviously appears as offline in Google Home.

I 100% believe this is a bug. It just can't be by design.

'Hey Google, turn on/off room1 **Lights**' - specifically saying 'Lights'. This phrase matches the default light grouping Google does.

**Example 1:** In room1 I have 2 devices of type 'Light' and 1 device of type 'Outlet' (SUPLA smart UK double gang socket). Each 'port' from the double socket correctly appears separately in Google Home.

Garden Main Light is an actual smart light switch (Varilight vPro range).

Garden Festoon Light is a string of 5 bulbs with a plug top on the cable, which is plugged into port1 of the smart socket.

Garden Water Feature is really a pond pump, which is plugged into port 2 of the smart socket.

Asking that phrase turns on the outlet as well. The 2 Light devices are automatically grouped by Google Home into the default 'room1 Lights' group.

The smart socket ports are completely independent; if I use Google Home app to turn on the light group, the water feature stays off, and vice-versa.

This is a voice command only bug.
