Trap wide open on dead earwig?

My little friend caught an earwig while I was at work today, so it could have happened anytime in the last 10 hours - the trap is wide open still, at what point does it become something to worry about and when should I remove the bug to prevent issues like mold?

I've had my fly trap for a month - two questions

Is this discoloration on the leaves anything to worry about?

Should I deadhead the leaf that doesn't have a head attached? It came to me like that.

Thanks!!
