no but seriously, amir def didnt want shaheen to progress. idk about the others. really sad. i really like watching LQ play. i could be wrong, but it seems like there always a thought process going in. with limited resources, they try to make the best of it. no rashid khan, no mustifizur, horrible death bowling. yet, they still cracked babar, kusal mendis, countered muqeem and so on. to me, for IU, it was always about great players and management but then medium planning and strategy. PZ was great players but clueless management and babar hugging as captain. KK was just depression and QG was even more so. now with RP and HK and MS, things seem more competitive and i like it. but then again, every match has like 5 catch drops and players like chapman and mendis make the competition look amateur.
anyway, i guess if LQ really deserved to qualify, they would've by having a better NRR.
