Embroidered the Wylder Helmet neck thingy from Elden Ring
A friend asked if I could embroider the neck piece thing for his Elden Ring cosplay outfit. I was up for the challenge and said sure why not! Getting the size right was a little tough and it ended up being a little too small in the final product. Once it was attached to the helmet, the fabric doesn't hang down as much for you to see the design fully.
Finding a good image to digitize off of was hard, so I ended up just using a screenshot of someone else's cosplay where they had screen printed the design on some fabric (last pic)
About 180k stitches and I used my 15" x 23" border frame so I was able to do it all in one hooping. Digitized in Hatch 2. If I really wanted it to be true to size I probably could have split the design up to 2 hoopings, but I was lazy and didn't have enough time to tinker with the design.
I would like to get into doing more cosplay projects like this cause they are fun!
