one of the main aspects of the potter books is the young detective plotline with the characters investigating a mystery that unfolds throughout the school year, therefore certain information is hidden from the reader and you only find it out later.

in the series since all the twists are well known we could show scenes from different povs quirrel and voldemort, ginny and the diary, padfoot searching for peter, barty crouch putting harrys name in the goblet etc

i dont know if i want the mystery/detective aspect kept for new viewers or to see this expanded version where like columbo the audience knows but harry doesnt
