Help! First trip to Italy & Switzerland – how does our itinerary look?

Hi! My partner and I are planning our first trip to Italy and Switzerland in April/May 2027 and I would love some advice on our itinerary.

We’re travelling as couple in our late 20s and we don’t want a really rushed trip, but we also want to see as much as we can in 3 weeks.

Our current itinerary is:
🇮🇹Rome – 3 nights (2 full days)
🇮*🇹Positano / Amalfi Coast – 4 nights (3 full days)
🇮🇹
F*lorence – 4 nights (3 full days)
🇮🇹 Venice - 3 nights (2 full days)

🇨🇭Lucerne – 2 nights (1 full day)
🇨🇭Lauterbrunnen / Wengen – 4 nights (3 full days)
🇨🇭 Zurich - 2 nights (1 full day)

Would you keep this itinerary as it is, or would you add/remove a night somewhere?

Are there any places where you think we’re staying too long or we should stay longer??

Thanks in advance!

Help! First trip to Italy – how does this itinerary look?

Hi! My partner and I are flying to Italy on 10th April 2027 and I’d love some advice on the number of nights in each place.

We don’t want to feel rushed and would rather have a relaxed trip than try to see everything.

Current itinerary:
* Rome – 3 nights (2 full days)
* Positano/Amalfi Coast – 4 nights (3 full days)
* Florence – 4 nights (3 full days)
* Venice – 3 nights (2 full days)

Would you keep this as is, or should we add an extra night in Rome or Positano?

We were originally going to Lake Como for 3 nights as well, but I figured it would make the trip too exhausting adding an extra stop. We are travelling on to Switzerland after Venice.

We’re first-time visitors in our late 20s, travelling as a couple, and we like having enough time to explore without constantly moving around.

Thanks so much!

Travel agent recommendations in Brisbane

Hi there! Can anyone recommend a great travel agent who specialises in Italy and Switzerland

My partner and I are planning 3 weeks in Italy and the Swiss Alps and would love someone who can help with the itinerary, accom and transport between destinations.

Especially keen to hear from anyone who has used an agent for a similar trip and had a great experience.

Thank you!
