I can't seem to find this option. I purchased the premium to both curious if that unlock any options on this (Which did not) and at the same time I wanted to show my support for the development.

Suggestions

The current main app theme system could get a simple customization option like custom background color or custom wallpaper. Potentially this improves two thing, battery life, visual contrast or clarity.

There are also concern for usage of those with vision impairment.

On theme visuals, I do think the UI font size should have a setting options too. On some devices, this app's font can appear smaller than the system's font size. There are currently no way to increase the font size for this app alone, so it could be straining for user with impaired vision experience. This is especially true since the app is also lacking a theme with high contrast to at least compromise with this. A simple dark amoled or Blackout theme is the least of it.

The visual overall, this might be an opportunity get a minor update on.

This was tested on Nothing OS 4.1, results may vary for other versions.

Without disabling Essential Space Functionality, remapping are only available for Single Press and Long presses only.

To achieve the following, you must first set the Essential Key toggle to double tap.

To do this, go to Settings > Intelligence Toolkit > Essential Key Settings > Activate With Single Tap Before Use

Now single press and long press will not activate Essential Space instantly and only do so if you double press the key.

The simplest and direct way to remap the ES Key at this stage, is by using KeyMapper app from Google/F-droid. Where you simply record the key press and set customized actions.

However the use of KeyMapper requires strict Accessibility permission, some banking apps are sensitive to these and will ask you to disable the accessibility permission for KeyMapper every time.

A workaround for this is to use Automate instead. The app itself is freemium, so you can still use the following workflow in the app and remap your ES Key.

Similarly they too use Accessibility permission. However upon testing, the level of accessibility are accepted by most banking apps so you won't be asked to disable it every time you enter any apps that checks for this.
