Patches on newly-laid turf (May) despite regular watering — normal or a problem?
Hi all, after some advice on my new lawn.
Quick timeline:
- Turf laid 1st May (so it's about 9 weeks old now)
- Watered heavily morning and night for the first two weeks
- Then once a day for weeks three and four
- First cut at three weeks on the highest setting
- Cut again at week four, highest setting
- Cut again at week six, highest setting
- Cut again at week eight, highest setting
- I've been giving it extra water on the really hot days we've had
It established well, but I'm now seeing some patches and I'm not sure what to do next.
