Some shots from the video I took while visiting a trophy truck show in Johnson Valley a few months ago, taken on my 1996 BVC Camcorder
I liked this truck the most because it gave the video a "90s" feel. So I filmed it on my camcorder

Here's hoping the floods don't cause much more damage.
Rejetting job is going well but I didn't get a pic with the carb off. Also adjusted my ignition timing by a couple degrees as well as installed a new 160 degree thermostat. I rejetted it from .42 to .35, we'll see how it performs on the trip. I cleaned out some of the fuel lines, replaced the mechanical pump and also took the time to do the brake cylinders and fix the out of round drums. I love my burnside.
I even managed to catch the train passing by in the photo
Such great movies, and it's neat to see all the old cars Belasco used to have before they all got taken off the roads
Such a great time seeing all these cars out. Happy 250th everyone.
Brought both my Burnsides to Osaka from over in Saitama Prefecture. Quite a long drive but very well worth it to visit a 50s themed burger joint and get to see some cars. Place was packed before everyone went in to eat. Feels like home
bought another Burnside special, this time a woody wagon. A smooth 29,050$ or 4.6 million yen. Totally worth it.
Hanno is such a beautiful place. And I'm not even too far outside of Tokyo either. The more suburban and countryside areas of Japan are so nice to live in.
Some cool stuff in those woods. Wish I could save em.
Got some glamour shots of as many cars as I could (meta: my PC was dying the entire time) It's so cool to come to these.
felt like making a little bugger so here we are. I very much like this body to work with, it's much easier than other 50s automation bodies.
I'd love to visit Alaska one day. It's an amazing state. These old 1970s small town photos really speak to me in ways I can't describe.
Found an old photograph in a garage sale lot and sent it over to the historical society to get touched up and colorized.
Total restoration time was about 3 and a half months, as my first few posts were pictures from a few months ago. This was absolutely worth the money I paid for it and I'll be using it as a road tripper, since before it was parked it was also well traveled, having been to Sendai and back to Yokohama. We're gonna take it on a trip to Osaka and Kyoto soon. I should start doing more revivals like this, like the guys I watch on Beamtube.
Welcome to day 2 of the Scrapyard Digs (Man I love those guys' videos) inspired revival. Got a lot done today. More to come. But now it's able to be driven since it goes into gear fine.
Will update as things happen but it's an amazing find. Always had a thing for Claria wagons considering my love for American wagons.
