Does anyone truly heal

I have had disordered eating since 13. I haven’t lived a day that I can remember where I felt like I didn’t need to lose weight. I’m really into health and fitness but borderline disordered eating. I’m way better than I was but my question to those who have struggled, has anyone gotten to a place of true peace and acceptance of your body?

I have followed this case since its origins in August of 2024. What a journey it’s been. I went from being a huge fan of Blake Lively’s to despising her. The rollercoaster of news throughout these last almost 2 years has been insane. I’ve never seen something like it in real time.

What has me baffled and angered me is that I really thought it would go to trial based on all of BL’s actions. The fact that she didn’t make a statement on her instagram is telling. She seemed to have 180’d from “I can’t wait to go to trial and tell my story; I’m fighting for all women and children” to wanting it to be dead and buried and moving on.

I believe she thinks that joint statement would help her public image.

She is wrong. I don’t think she will ever recover. What she needs to do is stay out of the spotlight for at least a year. Not go to the Met Gala like everything is so peachy keen.

It’s infuriating, isn’t it?

Someone can lie, use all their money and power to destroy innocent men and their families, and then decide on a whim (after declaring herself a martyr) to settle and brush everything under the rug. I hope everyone in the public sees the truth, though I know there are some that don’t.

I know this sub will keep going, but I just want to thank everyone here for all the intelligent discussion, the constant legal break downs, and entertainment throughout this insane journey of following this case.
