12 Million Pounds Milestone

12 Million Pounds Milestone

At this point my only weight training is on the Tonal and I clip a million pounds every 93.5 days (last 5 1-million increments have ranged from 76 to 119 days).

Current strength score is 1530 composite (1617 U / 1328 C / 1644 L).

Will keep going until the wheels fall off!

Divide & Conquer Level Up Finished (5th time; 34 total programs) - Progress Pic Included

Title pretty much says it all. Knocked out a quick round of Divide & Conquer Level Up after being mentally pretty wiped from doing 12 Weeks to Unleashed combined with running a pretty aggressive calorie deficit since April (~220 to ~200 lbs).

While my strength score only went up a whopping 12 points over the 4 weeks, I’m actually really happy that I didn’t lose strength as Im hitting the final stretch of this cut.

I plan on running back D&C one more time given its low rep count approach while I’m still on this deficit because for anything bigger volume/rep count I’m getting pretty wiped.

Introducing “Fever Dreams: The Hammond Bears Edition”, a 16 week program brought to you by Coaches Joe Rodonis and Jackson Bloore

Don’t lie - you ran to this post to see what this was all about.

Tonal - cut the entire Coaching Cues department and do whatever it takes to make this happen.

Good people of r/tonalgym - pitch your ideas into what the dynamic duo would do and say in this program. We will crowd source the material and deliver it with a bow.

A few weeks into 12W2U vs at program completion (TW: guy in speedo 😂)

Lifted and ate for strength (“accumulating mass” as they say) all winter and then pivoted into summer cut mode probably about a month too late. Starting weight ~217 and current weight ~203. 12 Weeks to Unleashed on a fairly aggressive calorie deficit was NOT particularly fun but generally helped maintain lean mass while shedding lbs.

Strength score went from 1436 composite to 1513 composite from start to finish of the program.

Will now run a 4 week program to just notch an easy win.

Give us a Joe Rodonis and Jackson Bloore Hans and Franz 12 week program.

It’s provocative. It gets the people going.

Catterton deal team staffed on the Tonal investment - Fire the coaching cues product team and replace them with a Joe and Jackson support staffing team. Immediately generate another turn on the exit. You’re welcome.

Finished 12W2U - Feeling relieved more than anything 😂

It was more like 15 weeks due to some injuries and travel, but happy to have completed the program. SS went from 1436 to 1513 over the course of the program. Also hit my 11 million pound milestone during the program!

I immediately ran back 12W2J after finishing it the first time but don’t plan on doing that here. Want to do a couple of 4 weekers to notch some easier wins and mentally recuperate before coming back to either 12W2J or U.

Lagging core strength score (1604 U / 1578 L / 1293 C) - How much is just not doing enough core-focused exercises vs actual strength disparity?

I’ve tried to keep my strength scores relatively balanced, however over the course of the 12W2Unleashed program my core score has really lagged. Think this is largely because isolated core exercises are very supplementary in the program.

I recognize that some of A -> B is also B -> A here since naturally my core wouldn’t be as strong as it would be if I were doing additional core-focused workouts, but I am curious as to how the SS is calculated and whether spending some time on core-focused workouts would shoot up score simply by having a greater variety of movements and registered sets (which seems like an input to SS)?

Thanks for any feedback!
