I've been having bad delays loading web pages in the last couple of days. Tracked it down to one of the two DNS servers being given to me by Quantum.

If this is happening to you, check if 205.171.2.65 is one of your DNS resolution servers, and remove it. Solves the problem. (Google's 8.8.8.8 server is always a good alternative)

I tried reporting this to Quantum support, but that was a waste of time.

I've played the piano on and off for 25 years, with periods where I practiced every day, and then entire years without touching a piano. I can learn and play some advanced pieces, but my lousy sight-reading is a constant barrier. I have to think so hard about the notes. It's slow and mentally exhausting. I would so love to be able to sight-read through something like one of the easier Chopin Nocturnes at full speed, even though it would take a lot more practice to get the musicality right.

Did you succeed in improving your sight-reading as an adult? How?
