Success story

Just wanted to share my before/after and say a massive thank you to the good coaches and private clinics that actually made this possible.

I’ve struggled with obesity and severe psoriasis since I was a kid. Low energy, poor recovery, mental fog, and a body that just wouldn’t respond no matter how hard I trained or dieted. Spent over 100k on psychologists, men's coaches, holistic health coaches, dermatologists and more.

At 20 I had total T at 12 nmol/L with all the classic symptoms and was told “it’s in range, nothing to do.” Fast forward years later, still suffering badly, I was just 1.3 nmol/L over the PBS cutoff after having done everythingto raise my test natrually. Sky-high LH (primary hypogonadism) + total T ≤15 nmol/L should qualify under Australian guidelines, but most GPs I saw either didn’t know the criteria or straight-up dismissed me.

Mainstream medicine failed me for decades. I got sicker, more frustrated, and kept being ignored despite clear symptoms and labs.

Thankfully I found a solid holistic doctor who ran proper tests, did my own deep research, and eventually went private for TRT. That decision changed my life. Also reading many posts in this reddit group I am thankful for all the active members who share their experiences here.

Within months: mental clarity and mood completely different, energy through the roof, libido and sexual health back, productivity at work skyrocketed (closing sales feels easy now), dating confidence up, stubborn fat finally shifting, strength and muscle coming on, and my autoimmune/psoriasis symptoms have reversed dramatically. Add in the right peptides alongside and it’s been genuinely life-changing for my mental, physical, and immune health.

Huge thanks to my coach for nailing the body recomp side, and to the private clinics that actually listen and treat patients as individuals instead of lab numbers. I’m so grateful these options exist in Australia without them I’d still be stuck suffering.

Levels on 210mg/week

Trying to work out why my total test dropped on 210mg per week. Prior dose was 140mg/week had total 34 and free 901. Then went up to 36nmol/l after 2 weeks on the higher dose, now 6 weeks in down to 31nmol/l

Lab range

11-40nmol/l for total test and the clinic is happy for me to target the top of the reference range for total test.

New clinic scripted me 250mg/week but I thought I'd step up to 210mg then go to the 250mg if not e2 side effects no e2 side effects but I am running 199 e2

My shbg came down so could it just be my body clearing more test?

But I do feel better on the higher dose, more energy, higher libido and better mental health I feel amazing on this dose.

Comparison of the two tests below. Could be my natrual production might have been active on the 36nmol/l test now it's shut off so 210ng gets me just to 31?

Upped trt dose and test levels dropped?

So my first bloods was 4 weeks in on 140mg per week total 34 and free 901

Was 1 week into 230mg and 2 weeks on 25mg anavar and went to 36 total and 1327 free

Now 7 weeks on anavar and 6 weeks at 230mg per week and my test dropped to 31 total and 1210 free

Same vial of test, jano report is it is mildly over 250mg of test cyp

I daily dose

all three labs taken same time of day, same 24hrs after last dose, same 1.5L of water drunk

I am stumped why my test dropped on the higher dose

At least my free test to E2 got better as I am getting leaner

Anyone seen a big drop in LDL after starting TRT?

  • Total cholesterol: 9.4 → 5.6
  • LDL: 7.8 → 4.31

I have always had really high unexplained cholesterol no FHC or other explanation could never get my LDL below 5.5nmol even on a no fat vegan diet I tried ages ago in my 20's with an ex-girlfriend.

My LDL always runs between 5.5-8.8nmol/l

Got my 8 week bloods on TRT running total Test now at 36nmol/l and free T at 1,327pmol/l E2 is at 240 but no symptoms.

I have not changed my diet, exercise or anything since jumping on TRT other than adding in a few peptides my clinic gave me for my Autoimmune condition, but I can not explain the drop in LDL in just 8 weeks?

My Test has always been in range but very low. Since I was in my early 20s was 12nmol/l pre TRT I was 16.3nmol/l and free T of 365pmol/l with <50 E2 labs couldn't determine it without LMCS due to being too low.
