Where to visit in late October that’s not New England?

I’m from New England so I’ve seen it all. I’d really love to visit Northern California but not sure how it would be in late October or where I’d even go. Any suggestions, California or somewhere else out west?

Eating more protein, going to the gym more, and I’m gaining weight?

About a month ago I started working with a dietician who taught me about the important of eating protein (among other things). I started eating three full meals a day, which I’ve never done and it’s been life changing for my routine and eliminating my poor snacking habits.

I also started going to the gym and lifting weights using the Ladder app instead of just doing Pilates and HIIT a few times a week. I just stepped on the scale and am up 5 pounds. Is it possible I’m eating too much food? Or could there be another reason? It’s only been a few weeks so I don’t imagine that weight is muscle quite yet.

I’m wondering if I’m possibly eating too much during the day now. But I’m eating protein forward, nutritious food and I feel more energized than when I would just snack on chips and dip all day.

My goal is to lose fat and gain muscle so maybe I should just ignore the scale?

Missed my therapy appointment and I feel super ashamed

My therapist let me know last week that she was going to be a few minutes late to our appointment this week. Well, I completely forgot (ADHD). I always set reminders for info like this but I didn’t this time.

I waited 10 minutes and then left. I emailed her to ask if the appointment was cancelled and she reminded me she was going to be a few minutes late. She also said she was held up by a car accident which made her more late than intended.

I live only a few minutes up the street so I called to tell her I could come in and she said no worries and that she’d see me in two weeks (I’m out of town next week).

I feel absolutely awful. I can’t believe I didn’t remember that. I apologized a few times. She’s pretty stoic so I can’t read her. Idk. I just feel awful. Any advice to not spiral about this over the next two weeks would be helpful.

I found some cheap i-Type film for sale but it’s 7 months expired (hence, cheap). Would you take the risk? Is 7 months a short amount of time where it shouldn’t matter too much?

I’m on the Pro plan. I’ve cleared my cache and tried to open the site in a different browser and in incognito mode but nothings working. I reached out to customer service but figured I’d ask here if anyone has advice on how to fix this.

The background shows up and so can scroll but none of the content shows up.

To be transparent, I don’t come from an artistic background but I adore crafts. I often gather a few of my friends to do them and find it to be so fun. They allow me to scratch my creative itch and spend time with people I love.

I’m absolutely miserable at my office job and am exploring a few different self employment options. I live in a mid size city and there are posts all the time on my city’s subreddit about people wanting friends and also a few people looking for creative hobbies.

I’d work with local cafes and restaurants to host the events so wouldn’t be renting out any space (unless they have a minimum spend) and I’m pretty savvy with finding cheap supplies.

But would this actually be feasible to make a full time ($70k+?) income off of in the long run? This is not something I would jump fully into right away. But I’m curious if anyone else runs one and has found it to be successful.
