My Gymshark order shipped from Belgium to Turkey is stuck in DHL Express customs in Istanbul. I've been notified 3 times to clear customs within 20 days or face storage fees + €100 liquidation charge.

I called DHL Express Turkey customs (+90 212 444 00 40) and the customer service representative said I can only pay customs duties from a Turkish phone number — not by email, online, or their website. But other customers have received payment links via email, and there's no payment option on DHL's on-demand delivery system either.

Is this "Turkish phone number only" policy real or was I misinformed? How do most people pay customs — do you request it or does DHL send an invoice/link automatically? Anyone else faced this issue?

No invoice provided – Don't know how much I owe in customs duties

No payment method – Can't find anywhere to pay on their website

20-day deadline – If I don't act, they liquidate it and charge €100 extra

Anyone dealt with DHL Express Turkey customs before? Is there a payment portal I'm missing or do I just call 444 00 40?
