Posting because I’ve only seen positive reviews of this car seat. My husband is a car guy and we have 5 cars we currently drive baby in. The GoMax looked like a fantastic option for us to go baseless. I warrantied the original one because the release button on the back would not release the latches from the car. Not the biggest deal, we could just use it baseless or with a seatbelt. Now the replacement from Graco shows it’s locked, but the latches are not synced together and one moves around freely when showing locked to the car. Not to mention it got stuck in the base once and took my husband a solid 30 minutes to get it unstuck.

I think this seat has a lot of potential but clearly has issues. I’m considering going with the similar Joie seat.
